I am Terrance, founder of NZ Plumbing Advisory.

With more than 30 years of experience in the plumbing industry, I have worked across a wide range of roles, giving me a unique perspective on residential, commercial, and rural plumbing systems.

Throughout my career, I have worked for established plumbing companies, owned and operated my own plumbing business, undertaken hydraulic and plumbing design and consulting work, and lectured in plumbing education, helping to train and mentor future tradespeople.

This broad industry experience allows me to understand plumbing systems from multiple perspectives, including construction, maintenance, design, compliance, asset management, and long-term infrastructure planning.

Today, through NZ Plumbing Advisory, I provide independent plumbing advisory services to homeowners, property buyers, landlords, investors, and lifestyle block owners throughout New Zealand.

Because I do not carry out physical plumbing installations or repairs, my advice has no commercial bias. My objective is to help clients understand complex plumbing, drainage, water supply, and infrastructure issues so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

I specialise in reviewing property documentation, building reports, LIM reports, plumbing and drainage plans, water supply systems, wastewater infrastructure, maintenance requirements, and contractor recommendations.
